Sola Scriptura | Reformation Christian Ministries

Back to Table of Contents, A Declaration of Universal Rights

The primary purpose of CFJ is to promote the general application of two scriptural mandates: "Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy" (Proverbs 31:8, 9) and "Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body" (Hebrews 13:3). These mandates not only apply to members of the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:23-26, Matthew 25:34-37, 40), but also to all men since all were created in God's image and therefore equal in His sight. Both are duties toward God which result in rights for men. CFJ seeks both to define these rights and aid in defending them.
