Greetings in the name of our sovereign God and Father!

I am so thankful to report that, by God’s merciful healing, I have almost fully recovered from that “cold” I had last week. This past Lord’s Day I preached from Acts 18:9,10, and how the Lord encouraged the apostle in the midst of the challenges of life. Well, we all have various challenges, and may we truly see how dependent we are on the Lord and that He also encourages us by His Word and Spirit. May you all know His gracious blessing and encouragement in all of life.

The school in Suriname (CLA) has just completed the 5th week and today begins the 6th week of the Third Quarter. Let us truly PTL for how He continues to bless CLA and use the school for His glory and kingdom. PTL also that construction is going along well.

Please continue to pray for the Church there as well (FPC). As Elders, we are prayerfully waiting on the Lord to work through the discipline of the Church in various members. Our hearts are heavy but the Lord gives strength. Pray for the Lord’s encouragement to Rev. Hamid as Pastor and pray for all the members to grow in grace and in communion of saints.

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus!

I trust you all had a blessed Lord’s Day worship yesterday.

I was thankful that I was able to preach since I had a rather strange “cold” last week that left me without energy. It was very challenging to even get the basics of my work done during the week. I am thankful I am a bit better and hope recover more fully this week.

CLA in Suriname has now completed the 4th week of the Third Quarter. We are thankful that the Lord has provided a lady to do babysitting, and we pray that this works out well for the mothers. Please continue to pray for the school and for all who work there. They need encouragement to continue on.

Please pray for the students in the College and Seminary and my work online with them. Some work more regularly than others, but that is the blessing of our “system” (each works according to their situation). It is a blessing to be training for kingdom service.

Greetings in the Lord our God!

What a great blessing it is to know that we have one God Who is Lord and Who unites us in a common faith and common obedience. I trust your Lord’s Day worship was a great blessing; may the Lord use it to knit us together in service to Him. Thank you especially for your service in prayer.

The third week of the 2nd Semester went well, PTL. We do have some teachers who were not well and not able to be in class. Some others are also feeling very sick. Please pray for the Lord’s will in it all, and for restoration to health in due time. Thank you for your prayer for the Lord’s blessing at CLA.

The construction at CLA is going along very well; PTL.

We were able to have a zoom meeting as Elders of the Church in Suriname (FPC) with the member. Please pray for God’s great grace to bring good fruits of that meeting. He is sovereign and He is able.

Please also continue to pray for the Otis’ and the afflictions they are in the midst of. (Again, they work with the GNBS, Good News Bible Study).

Greetings dear prayer partners,

I am so thankful to the Lord for your prayerful support. I pray for the Lord to bless you for it and use it for the furtherance of His Kingdom and His glory.

PTL that the second week of classes in the 2nd Semester at CLA have gone well. We are looking for someone to look after the babies of mothers who are teaching. Please continue to pray for all the teachers and staff, and that the Lord may graciously bless CLA and continue to use the school to affect many people.

Please also pray for the Church in Suriname (FPC), and especially for our anticipated meeting in regards to the discipline of a member (we hope to do that this week via zoom). As Elders we are so much in need of God’s wisdom and to bless the pastoral care of members.

Here in the U.S. I would especially ask you to pray for the Otis’ as they are facing severe afflictions (they work with the GNBS, Good News Bible Study). Pray that the Lord may sustain them and provide for them.

Greetings in the name of our ruling Lord Jesus!

I have returned to preaching from Acts. It is such a blessing and comfort to see how our Lord rules in all things, and specifically for the spread of the Gospel and the ongoing coming of His Kingdom. His rule gives purpose to SALT and all of RCM. May you also find that a great comfort.

PTL that the first week of classes went well at the school in Suriname (CLA). It began a bit “rocky” as some were away because of sickness and others were away because of a family wedding in Guyana. Thankfully by Wednesday all had returned. Please continue to pray for CLA and for all who serve the Lord there. Also, give thanks for the ongoing progress in construction.

Please also pray for the Church there (FPC). In the near future we as Elders plan to have a meeting via zoom with one of the discipline cases. I ask you to be in prayer for this, and for God’s sovereign grace to work in the heart of this member. Indeed, let us pray for the Church in general; she is under attack in ways we could not even fathom earlier. But, because of our Lord’s rule, His Truth and His purpose will prevail…and that includes through our prayers.
