Greetings in the name of our ruling Lord Jesus!

It was so encouraging (this past Lord’s Day in worship) to be assured that our Lord is ruling and is gathering and preserving His Church against the fury of the whole world (Belgic Conf. art.27). We have been seeing that in Acts, and may we all see and know it is true also today.

I would sincerely ask you to pray for many at CLA in Suriname. So many teachers and staff have been sick and just unable to even be at school in some cases. Some were in their classes for a short while and then had to go home. It has been challenging to “cover” the various classes. This morning several are still fighting against sickness and some are not able to be in school. So please pray for restoration to health and God’s blessing at CLA.

Give thanks for the ongoing progress in the construction. If all goes well the Hamids should be able to move in by the end of March.

Please also continue to pray for the Otis’ (Good News Bible Study for RCM). Mrs. is struggling with severe illness. PTL for the comfort they have that this is in the hands of our Lord and He also uses this for the good of those He calls. Pray for God’s perfect will to be done.

I have been preaching from Acts, which is all about the risen and ruling Lord extending His Kingdom and Church. That extension is ongoing and continues to our day too. To that end PTL for RCM and the ministry of SALT.

Please continue to pray for both College (RIC) and Seminary (RITS) programs. This past week we have enrolled a new student for the B.A. Certificate in Theology. PTL for this and see the note we received from him:

Thank you both for the prayers regarding the search for a church home in my area as well as upcoming work in the certificate program. I also want to thank you for providing such a program that addresses the needs of people like myself with limited access… My occupation requires a flexible schedule that many other programs do not permit. This program works well with my somewhat unpredictable schedule.

Thank you for also praying for the ministry in Suriname, in both Church and school. The construction continues to progress, and we PTL for this.

Greetings in the name of our Father in heaven,

Let us pray for the Church of our Lord to be comforted and assured that, in Christ, we have a Father in heaven who rules over all things through Jesus. That is an unspeakable comfort as we observe the many evil things being planned for the world.

It is also a great comfort to me that He also rules in all the ministries of RCM, and SALT. Again, thank you so much for your prayerful support for the ministry of SALT.

We have a few Seminary students who work regularly and diligently in their studies. Please pray for them, and also for my online work with them.

Continue to pray for CLA in Suriname and all the teachers and staff, and also for the many students the Lord has brought to CLA. Last week public works was working on the street in front of the school, and it created terrible dust that just covered everything and infiltrated all the Elementary classrooms.

And, as you pray for Suriname, please also pray for the Church (FPC). Pray for God to use and bless the ministry of the Church in the lives of many; not only the members but also frequent visitors.

Greetings dear prayer partners!

Thank you for your part in this ministry of SALT.

Your continued prayer for the Church and school in Suriname is so much appreciated. It is already now the beginning of the 7th week of classes at CLA. We have 8 weeks per Quarter so it is coming close to the end of the First Quarter. Give thanks to the Lord for the work of teachers and staff there and pray that the Lord might truly encourage each of them in their work. Pray for the students who come from so many different backgrounds and need the Truth over against the Lie. PTL for progress in the construction and pray that it continues.

Please also remember to pray for the Church (FPC) and for the Lord to grant His grace so as to draw members into close fellowship in the Lord and His Truth. Pray for Rev. Hamid as pastor and to be encouraged in his ministry.

Thank you also for continuing to pray for the online students, and especially those enrolled and active in the Seminary studies. Our Lord is building His kingdom and providing leadership; PTL. "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. (Luke 10:2)

Greetings in the grace of God!

In His grace alone SALT continues on; and thank you for your prayers.

Thank you for praying for God’s gracious purpose in the Church in Suriname (FPC) and especially for His grace to use the discipline of the Church to bring about repentance and restoration.

Thank you also for ongoing prayer for CLA and the construction. We finally have the second floor poured; PTL.

Thank you also for praying for students in the College and Seminary. One Seminary student just completed a course and has begun the next one. The Lord, in His grace, is training for leadership in His Kingdom.

In all let us be in prayer for the coming of Christ’s Kingdom…here on earth as it is in heaven. It takes place in our hearts and lives, in the heart and life of the Church, and the Day will reveal that Kingdom in all its glory.

Greetings in the name of our sovereign Lord!

Wow today is “9/11” and it surely brings back many memories. In all may the Lord assure His people that He was, and is, sovereign also in that. May we all be greatly encouraged that in His sovereign eternal counsel He has also chosen to work His will through the prayers of His people. This is true also for the ministry of SALT; and thank you all for your prayerful partnership.

Thank you especially for praying for CLA and all who work there, and also for the ongoing construction project (they are hoping to pour the second floor today!). By the way in the previous PPP the number which Rev. Hamid had sent was a typo; he wrote 271 students at CLA and it should have been 371!

Thank you also for continued prayer for the Church in Suriname (FPC) and for God’s grace to work in those who are under Church discipline. Only in grace does the Lord keep His Church pure (not perfect but knowing forgiveness and cleansing from all sin).

I very much also thank you for praying for the students and my online work with them. The students in College are in a kind-of “holding pattern” but several in Seminary are faithfully working and your prayer for them in this is much appreciated.
