Greetings in the name of our Savior!
In His name I wish you all a truly Merry Christmas!
Yesterday I preached the Word from Luke 2:34,35 (that Jesus was appointed for the fall and rising of many and His coming is for the revealing of hearts). Let us praise Him for raising us up to new life.
Thank you so much for your prayers for my safe travels. In God’s great mercy all went well and I arrived back home safely.
Rev. Hamid and I worked out a new plan regarding my trips to Suriname, so that I will go there one less time per school year. Instead of going there at the end of the Third Semester (in March), I will now go (1) End of school year in May, (2) Beginning of school year in Aug., and (3) End of First Semester in Dec. We have found a way to make this work ok for the Church as well. PTL.
Please continue to pray for the Church in Suriname (FPC). We did have a nice meal on Dec. 15th, celebrating Hamid’s anniversary and including it as the Church “Christmas meal” (see pics below). We continue much in prayer for those members under Church discipline; that the Lord might graciously grant repentance and restoration…thank you for joining in this prayer.
Pray that all who work at CLA will have a good time of “break” and be refreshed for the coming Semester which begins on Jan. 8th.
Thankful to be of service to our common Lord,
Rev. RP
