Greetings, once again from Suriname!
I am very thankful for the time here, and so much appreciate the prayers of God’s people. Thank you to each of you for your partnership in this work of missions.
This week in the school (CLA) we will have the Semester Exams for High School. This marks the end of the First Semester. I have been busy working on teaching plans for the Second Semester! Time just seems to fly! We will have a school Christmas meal for all teachers and staff this Thursday.
This week Friday (15th) we will have a meal as Church, to celebrate Pastor & Mrs. Hamid’s anniversary (as well as having it as our “Church Christmas meal”!). Costs have sure increased for these “outings”, but we are thankful to have sufficient resources to enjoy such times of fellowship.
We continue to discuss various items that relate to the construction. By way of explanation: The upper level is all for Hamid’s residence, and the lower level has a garage, a small “work-out gym”, a storage room, and also a large room which will be used by the school for writing exams and for labs and even a ping pong table. We are thankful for the progress, but there is still much to be done!
In all, thank you so much for your prayer. We so much need God’s gracious blessings in all things and without His blessing all is empty and worthless.
Serving Him with you all,
Rev. RP
